We don’t want high density housing in our neighborhood. what’s wrong with putting all the new growth at Napa Pipe?
How easy this solution looks on paper. Unfortunately, with a new ‘city’ in this remote site all Napa County residents will be impacted. We all will pay to upgrade our water and sewer systems, add new schools, complete required road improvements, and provide emergency service personnel. The developer is only required to pay their fair share. Who will pick up the balance – it’s you and me and the rest of the residents!
In contrast, incremental growth within our city limits takes advantage of existing schools, water & sewer infrastructure, libraries, retail stores, recreation, and community facilities. Traffic is also spread out among numerous streets & roads instead of being concentrated on two already overcrowded ones.
